An as-built from ADS is a measured record of the building, scanned by LiDAR and drafted from the scan. The set can include a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin, 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and MEP and structural elements where you want them documented. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

We use Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and the Matterport Pro3, and all plans, elevations and sections are drafted from the registered point cloud rather than from a tape or an earlier drawing.
Does the building have to close?
No. The technician works around staff, tenants and equipment, and a plant, warehouse or shop keeps operating. After-hours visits can be arranged.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set is prepared as the existing-conditions base for a renovation, addition or change-of-use application to the City of Chicopee's building department; your architect or engineer prepares and files the submittal.
