What does it cost?
The price is set by floor area, how much detail the space holds, which deliverables you pick and travel. Point cloud with 2D CAD is the base tier; a Revit model adds modeling time. Every quote is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For most buildings, yes. Scanning is one visit, so travel is a single line on the quote, and the drafting is done off site for every client. Several buildings in the Omaha metro can be scanned in one trip.
How accurate is it?
We draft from a registered LiDAR point cloud captured with Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and Matterport Pro3 scanners, so dimensions are measured on site rather than taken from old plans.
Does the building have to close?
No. Offices, restaurants, warehouses and stores stay open while we scan. We work around staff and customers and can schedule outside business hours.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses the set as the existing-conditions base for a renovation or tenant-improvement submittal to the city's permits office. The design professional files it; we make sure the existing conditions in it are right.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud go to you and anyone you name.
