What you get

Our nearest published project to West Sacramento is a veterinary clinic in Grass Valley, roughly an hour northeast of Sacramento in the foothills. It is a useful reference for a local commercial job: a 3,754 sq ft single-level unit inside a retail complex, scanned with LiDAR in July 2024 and delivered in eight days as a point cloud, 360° digital twin, AutoCAD and PDF sheets and a full photo record. The crew documented walls, ceilings and partitions and modeled the ceiling-mounted mechanical and electrical runs onto the reflected ceiling plan so the client's design team could plan upgrades from it. We have not yet published a project in West Sacramento itself.

A West Sacramento warehouse, office, restaurant or home receives the same set, depending on scope: the registered 3D point cloud; the browser-based digital twin; 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF with floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections; a Revit model at LOD 200–300 for BIM workflows; and MEP and structural elements where you need them. BOMA and REBNY area calculations are available on request. Scanners in use are the Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and Matterport Pro3.

How a West Sacramento project runs: send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you want, and we quote with travel as its own line. One technician scans in a single visit while the building stays open. Registration, drafting and your review follow, and we revise before final delivery.

West Sacramento FAQ

What does it cost?
The drivers are floor area, how much is inside the space (an empty distribution bay drafts faster than a fitted-out clinic), which deliverables you want and travel. Point cloud and 2D CAD is the base tier; Revit is added on top. Every quote is itemized.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
In most cases, yes. The site visit is short, the remaining work is done off site, and the travel line is separate so you can compare it with a local measured survey.

How accurate is it?
Dimensions are read from the point cloud, not a tape, and everything is captured in one pass so the plan, ceiling plan and sections agree. Irregular walls and floor levels are drawn as found.

Does the building have to close?
No. The Grass Valley clinic was an occupied unit while it was scanned. We work around staff and customers and can schedule outside business hours.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses the set as the existing-conditions base for a submittal to the City of West Sacramento Building Division, part of the Community Development Department at 1110 West Capitol Avenue. Applications filed on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud go to you and your consultants.
