On scan day a technician works through the building with the scanner while it stays open. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

What does it cost?
Floor area, complexity and deliverables set the price. A bare shell is quicker to document than a finished office with exposed MEP, and point cloud plus CAD is the lowest tier; a Revit model adds drafting time. Every quote is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
We do not have a San Mateo crew, so travel appears as a separate line on the quote. For a multi-tenant building or a portfolio of suites it is usually a small share of the total; for a single small room it may not be, and we will say so.
How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and Matterport Pro3 scanners and draft from the point cloud, so every dimension in the set is measured rather than taped or assumed.
Does the building have to close?
No. Scanning happens around staff and tenants during normal hours, and after-hours visits can be arranged for spaces that cannot be interrupted.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
