What you get

Large single-story warehouses and distribution buildings are among the easiest spaces to scan and the most expensive to measure by hand. We have not yet published a Perris or Riverside County project; the nearest ADS work is the 146,404 sq ft Solana Beach Shopping Mall (2025), a 26,580 sq ft commercial building in San Diego (2024), 4,700 sq ft of multi-tenant suites on Silver Spur Road in Rolling Hills (2024), the second floor of a 3,117 sq ft historic building on Olvera Street in Los Angeles (2026) and a 1,000 sq ft entryway and hall survey in Sherman Oaks (2025).

From the scan you get a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin, 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300 when your team works in BIM, and MEP and structural elements where scoped. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request. For a warehouse that means column grids, dock doors, clear heights, racking and overhead services recorded as installed; for a house it means every wall and opening at its measured position.

How a Perris project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you need, and we send an itemized quote with travel on its own line. A technician scans while the building operates. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

Perris FAQ

What does it cost?
Floor area, complexity, the deliverables you choose and travel. Large open floors can be cheaper per square foot than small finished spaces; point cloud and CAD is the base tier and Revit adds modeling time. Every quote is itemized.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a warehouse, a multi-tenant building, a tenant improvement or any project that will be drawn in Revit, usually yes: scanning replaces days of field measurement. For a single small room, we will tell you if it is not.

How accurate is it?
Scans come from Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and Matterport Pro3, and the drawings are traced from the registered point cloud, so dimensions are measured rather than estimated.

Does the building have to close?
No. Operations continue while we scan; we work around forklifts, staff and residents, and can come after hours.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
They are prepared as the existing-conditions base for your architect's or engineer's submittal to the City of Perris Building & Safety Division (Development Services, 135 N. D Street). Applications on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
