What does it cost?
Floor area, what is inside the space, the deliverables you order and travel. A clear-span warehouse drafts quickly; a finished shop with exposed MEP takes longer. Point cloud and CAD is the base; Revit adds modeling time. Quotes are itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Paramount is close to the Rolling Hills and Los Angeles projects listed below, so travel is a small line. Measured geometry pays for itself on tenant improvements, multi-unit buildings and any Revit project; for a single small room it may not.
How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and Matterport Pro3 and draw from the point cloud, not from tape measurements. Column lines, clear heights and openings come from the scan.
Does the building have to close?
No. Production, retail and residents carry on while we work; after-hours scanning is available.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base for your architect's or engineer's submittal to the City of Paramount Building and Safety Division, which serves the public at the City Hall counter at 16400 Colorado Avenue. Applications on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
