Hesperia FAQ
What does it cost?
Floor area, interior complexity, the deliverables you choose and travel set the price. The base tier is a point cloud with 2D CAD; adding Revit adds drafting time. The quote is itemized so you can drop lines you do not need.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Usually, yes. Travel is one line on the quote and the scan of a warehouse, store or clinic takes hours. The drafting, which is the larger part of the fee, costs the same wherever the building stands.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from a point cloud captured with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners or a Matterport Pro3, not from a tape measure. What is crooked on site is crooked in the drawing.
Does the building have to close?
No. We scan around staff and customers and can come after hours if the space is busy.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. They are the existing-conditions base your design professional submits to the City of Hesperia Building and Safety Division, which handles permitting, plan checking, inspections and grading. Applications filed on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud go to you and your consultants.
