Azusa As-Built Drawings, Measured on Site

Azusa FAQ
What does it cost?
The price follows floor area, how much is in the space, the deliverables and travel. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the lowest tier; Revit is added on top. The quote is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For Azusa, travel is minor: our Los Angeles County projects are within the same metro, and drafting is done off site for every client anyway.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions are pulled from the point cloud, so wall lengths, openings and ceiling heights are measured values rather than rounded estimates. Glass and mirrored surfaces are handled with scanner settings on site.
Does the building have to close?
No. Shops, offices, industrial spaces and homes stay occupied during the scan; we can also come outside business hours.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set serves as the existing-conditions base for a submittal to the City of Azusa Building & Safety Division, which issues building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and demolition permits. Applications filed on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes. Your design professional files the application.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and the consultants you name.

Los Angeles, CA · 3,117 sq ft · 2026
Standard measurements would not have been enough for the structural quirks of this historic Olvera Street building, so ADS laser-scanned its second level and turned the scans into BIM models that reduced risk for the construction phase. - Multi-Tenant Suites, Silver Spur Road
Rolling Hills Estates, CA · 4,700 sq ft · 2024

San Diego, CA · 26,580 sq ft · 2024
Roof imagery for the 26,580 sq ft downtown building came from aerial drone photogrammetry, combined with high-accuracy 3D scanning. Solana Beach, CA · 146,404 sq ft · 2025
