Fort Pierce FAQ
What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is inside the building, the deliverables you choose and travel to Fort Pierce. A point cloud with 2D CAD is the base tier; a Revit model adds modelling time. Each line is itemized so you can remove what you do not need.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Our office is in Miami and the technician drives up; that travel is priced as one line, so you can compare it with the cost of a local hand-measured survey. Larger buildings, marinas and warehouses are where the scan pays for itself fastest.
How accurate is it?
Every dimension in the set is taken from the registered point cloud rather than a tape, so out-of-square walls and uneven floors in older downtown buildings are drawn as they are.
Does the building have to close?
No. We scan during working hours around staff, tenants and customers; evening or weekend visits can be arranged for busy retail or hospitality spaces.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits. Inside the city limits that application goes to the City of Fort Pierce Building Department, which now takes applications through its Enterprise Permitting and Licensing system and Citizen Self Service portal. Condominium and co-op buildings three stories or taller are also subject to Florida's milestone inspection law (F.S. 553.899).
Who owns the files?
You do. The point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and your consultants.
