What you get

We have not yet published an Elizabeth project. Our nearest work is across the Hudson in Manhattan, where in July 2024 we documented a 2,500 sq ft office suite and, that autumn, two Russian Nails salons: a 1,500 sq ft store on Maiden Lane and a 2,590 sq ft store in Midtown South captured with a Matterport Pro3. Farther up the Hudson, the Poughkeepsie State Office Building (565,308 sq ft, 2025) shows the same process scaled to a full government complex.

An as-built from ADS begins with a laser scan and ends with drawings your architect, engineer or contractor can work from. Depending on scope, you receive a registered 3D point cloud of the building, a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser, 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and MEP and structural elements where you ask for them. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

How an Elizabeth project runs: send us the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you need, and we return an itemized quote with travel as its own line. On scan day a technician works through the space with a Leica RTC360, BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3; a warehouse, store or apartment building stays in use. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

Elizabeth FAQ

What does it cost?
Floor area, complexity and deliverables set the price. A clear-span warehouse near the port costs less to document than a finished store with millwork and exposed MEP; point cloud plus CAD is the base tier and a Revit model adds drafting time. Travel to Elizabeth is quoted separately so you can see it.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Our Northeast crews already work in Manhattan and the Hudson Valley, so Elizabeth is a short trip. Travel is one line on the quote, and the scan is usually a single visit.

How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from the point cloud, not a tape, so they are measured rather than assumed. Glass storefronts and reflective finishes are handled on site by adjusting scanner settings per area.

Does the building have to close?
No. We scan around staff, tenants and customers, and can schedule after hours or on a weekend if that suits an occupied building better.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Construction permits in Elizabeth are issued under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code through the City of Elizabeth's Construction office; your architect or engineer submits, and our set is the existing-conditions base for that drawing package.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
