What you get
Every ADS as-built begins with a laser scan of the building and ends with drawings your architect, engineer or contractor can work from. Depending on what you order, a Wylie project delivers a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser, 2D CAD drawings in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and MEP and structural elements where they are in scope. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.
We have not yet published a Wylie project, but our two most recent Texas jobs are in Dallas, about half an hour down the road. In April 2025 we documented the James Perse store at 3337 N Fitzhugh Ave, a 2,798 sq ft retail space, and in March–April 2025 the Hillcrest single-level brick and wood home, 4,635 sq ft. In November 2024 we scanned the Brown Subaru dealership in Amarillo, 8,200 sq ft, with a Leica RTC360.
How a Wylie project runs: send us the address, the approximate square footage and the deliverables you want, and we return an itemized quote with travel listed as its own line. On scan day a technician walks the building with the scanner; a house, store or office stays in use while we work. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

What does it cost?
Price depends on floor area, how much is inside the space (an empty shell is quicker to document than a finished store or a house full of millwork), which deliverables you need and travel. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the lowest tier; a Revit model adds drafting time. Every quote is itemized so you can remove what you do not need.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Our last two Texas projects were in Dallas, so Wylie is a short drive rather than a flight. Travel appears as a separate line in the quote, and for most buildings it is a small share of the total.
How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and Matterport Pro3, and every dimension in the drawings is taken from the point cloud, not from a tape or an old plan.
Does the building have to close?
No. A technician works around occupants, and a typical house or store is scanned in a single visit.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set is prepared as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer uses for a remodel or tenant-improvement submittal to your city's building department. Your design professional files the application; our job is to make sure the existing conditions in it are correct.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit files and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.

ADS combined a Leica RTC360 and a Matterport Pro3 to capture this 8,200 sq ft Brown Subaru building, then drafted in AutoCAD and Revit. The high-density point cloud recorded architectural detail, and the walkthrough added project visualization.

Building permits for addresses inside Wylie city limits are issued by the City of Wylie. Your architect or engineer files the application; our drawings supply the existing conditions. Confirm the current submittal process with the city's building department before your team files.
