Every job starts with a LiDAR scan (Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3) that produces a registered 3D point cloud. You then choose what is drawn from it: 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF with floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections; a Revit model at LOD 200–300; a browser-based 360° digital twin; MEP and structural elements where you need them; and BOMA or REBNY area calculations on request.
How a Westland project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and deliverables; we send an itemized quote with travel on its own line, since we have no Westland crew. The scan is a walk-through on a day you pick, with the home or business in normal use. We register the scans, draft the set, and you review it before final delivery.

What does it cost?
It depends on floor area, what is in the space, the deliverables and travel. A kitchen or a single suite with point cloud and CAD is the lowest tier; whole buildings and Revit models cost more. Quotes are itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
It depends on size. A single room may not justify the travel line; a storefront, a medical suite or a full house usually does, because the alternative is a design team working from dimensions nobody measured.
How accurate is it?
Every dimension on the drawing is one the scanner recorded. We draft from the registered point cloud, so nothing is assumed between measured points, and out-of-square rooms show up as they are.
Does the building have to close?
No. Homes stay occupied and businesses stay open; the scan is a walk-through with a tripod or handheld unit and we work around customers, patients and staff.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the base your architect or engineer submits from. Westland permits go to the City's Planning & Building Department at 36300 Warren Road, and alterations to existing buildings carry both a permit fee and a plan review fee, so a clean existing-conditions set helps that review go through once.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are yours to share with any consultant.
