We scan with a Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3, register the scans into a single 3D point cloud and draft from it. Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
The on-site part is short and the drafting is remote, so for an office floor, store or multi-tenant building the travel line is small relative to the whole. For a very small space we show it separately so you can judge.
How accurate is it?
Everything in the set is drawn from the registered point cloud, not from tape measurements or earlier drawings. We select the RTC360, BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3 to suit the space.
Does the building have to close?
No. We work around tenants, staff and customers, and can scan after hours when that is easier for you.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base in your architect's or engineer's submittal. In West Des Moines, building permits are issued by the Development Services Department's Building team, with applications filed through the city's online City Access Portal. Your design professional files; we make sure the existing conditions are right.
Who owns the files?
