What you get

We have not yet documented a building in St. Peters. What we can show is how we work elsewhere in the Midwest, and what you would receive here.

The deliverables: a registered 3D point cloud of the whole space; a 360° digital twin you can walk through in a browser; 2D CAD drawings in AutoCAD and PDF, covering floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections; a Revit model at LOD 200–300 for BIM teams; and MEP and structural elements documented where you need them. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available for lease and ownership work.

The proof: Daylight Coffee on Pinehurst Drive in Basehor, Kansas, a 1,750 sq ft coffee shop on a corner lot with full-height storefront glass and an exposed ceiling, scanned May 2–7, 2024. We modeled the exposed ducts, beams and suspended lighting and delivered a point cloud, digital twin, floor, reflected ceiling and roof plans, elevations and AutoCAD drawings with annotated PDF sheets; the designer, John Burgess, said they "were delivered exactly as promised." In June 2025 we ran a 400 sq ft pre-installation survey of a luxury kitchen in Chicago, and in 2025 we documented the 4,358 sq ft Windsor store at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The process for St. Peters: send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you want; we return an itemized quote with travel listed on its own line. A technician scans the building in one visit while it stays in use. The scans are registered into a single point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

St. Peters FAQ

What does it cost?
Area, interior detail, deliverables and travel. Point cloud and 2D CAD is the lowest tier; adding a Revit model adds drafting time. Every quote is itemized so you can remove a line.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Yes when the building is big or irregular, when you need Revit or the point cloud itself, or when the drawings you have are old enough to be unreliable; one visit captures everything. For a single small room it rarely is, and we will tell you.

How accurate is it?
The point cloud comes from Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners or the Matterport Pro3, and the drawings are drafted from that cloud. Dimensions are measured, not assumed.

Does the building have to close?
No. We scan around staff and customers during normal hours.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The City of St. Peters Building Safety Department, 1 St. Peters Centre Boulevard, requires a city permit for new construction and for alterations to structural, plumbing, mechanical or electrical systems, with applications through its CitizenServe online service. Your architect or engineer files the submittal; our set is its existing-conditions base.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and to the consultants you name.
