We have not yet published a St. Clair Shores project. The nearest ADS work is in Columbus, Ohio, where in July 2025 we documented the 4,358 sq ft Windsor store at Easton Town Center, and in Chicago, where a 400 sq ft pre-installation survey captured a luxury kitchen in June 2025. On scan day a technician walks the space with the scanner while the building stays in use. What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is in the space (an empty shell is quicker than a finished interior with millwork and exposed ductwork), the deliverables you choose and travel set the price. Point cloud plus CAD is the lowest tier; a Revit model adds drafting time. Every quote is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a single small room, probably not. For a whole house, a store or an office floor, the travel line is a small share of the total, and you get one measured record that every consultant works from instead of several tape surveys.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from the point cloud, not from a tape, so what is on the drawing is what the scanner measured. We draw from the cloud directly rather than interpreting field sketches.
Does the building have to close?
No. Scanning is a walk-through with a tripod or handheld unit. Homes stay occupied, stores stay open and offices keep working; we schedule around whatever is busiest.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base. Your architect or engineer prepares the submittal to your city's building department; our set gives them accurate plans and elevations to start from.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and whichever consultants you name.
