San Angelo FAQ
What does it cost?
Floor area, interior complexity, the deliverables you order and travel. An open warehouse or hangar is faster to document than a finished clinic or a house full of built-ins. Point cloud and 2D CAD is the base; Revit adds drafting time. Every quote is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a building of any size, yes. The scan is a day or less on site for most buildings; the drafting is done afterwards wherever the team sits. Travel appears as its own line so you can compare it against a local hand-measured survey.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from a point cloud captured with Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3 scanners, not from a tape, so what is drawn is what was measured.
Does the building have to close?
No. Scanning is non-contact and quiet, and the technician moves around staff, stock and patients as needed. Businesses and homes stay open.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. San Angelo's Building Permits & Inspections department, at 52 W. College Ave, reviews commercial and residential permit applications; your architect or engineer submits, using our drawings as the existing-conditions base.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
