Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
That is your call, and the itemized quote makes it a plain comparison: travel sits on its own line next to the scan and drafting. One visit with a scanner replaces repeat site-measuring trips.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and Matterport Pro3 scans, and the drawings are drafted from the registered point cloud rather than from a tape, so they are measured rather than estimated.
Does the building have to close?
No. Scanning happens around normal operations, and we can schedule evenings or weekends when that is simpler for you.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses our set as the existing-conditions base for a remodel, alteration or tenant improvement submitted to the City of Richland's Building Permit and Inspection office in Development Services, which takes applications online. They handle the submittal; our job is to make sure the existing conditions in it are correct.
Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are handed to you and your consultants.

Permits & governing bodies
