ADS produces as-built drawings from a laser scan rather than from a tape and an old plan. For an Ocala building that means a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin you can walk through from your desk, 2D CAD floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD and PDF, and a Revit model at LOD 200–300 if your design team needs BIM. Exposed MEP and structural elements are documented where scoped; BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

How an Ocala project runs: send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you need, and we return an itemized quote with travel on its own line. A technician scans the building, in a single visit for most properties, while it stays in use. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

What does it cost?
It is driven by floor area, how much is in the building, the deliverables you order and travel. Point cloud and 2D CAD is the entry tier; a Revit model adds drafting time. Everything is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Usually, yes. One site visit captures the whole building, the drafting is done remotely, and travel is a single line you can weigh against the total. For a small house the travel share is larger; for a commercial building it is minor.
How accurate is it?
We scan with the Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and Matterport Pro3 and draw from the point cloud, so dimensions are measured on site. Additions, settled floors and walls that are no longer square come through as they are.
Does the building have to close?
No. Stores, offices and homes stay in use while we scan; we schedule around your hours.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base in your architect's or engineer's submittal. In Ocala, building permits are handled by the Building division of the City's Growth Management Department; applications go in through the eTRAKiT portal or in person at the Customer Service Center, 201 SE 3rd Street, second floor. Florida's milestone inspection law (Florida Statutes 553.899) applies to condominium and co-op buildings three stories or taller.

You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit are delivered to you and your consultants.
