What you get

When you order an as-built from ADS, a technician scans your Noblesville building with a Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3 and the drawings are drafted from that scan rather than from a tape measure. The deliverables are scoped to what your project needs: a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser, 2D CAD floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD and PDF, a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and MEP and structural elements where you ask for them. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

We have not yet published a Noblesville or Indianapolis-area project. The nearest are in neighbouring states: the Windsor store at Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH, a 4,358 sq ft retail space documented in 2025, and a 400 sq ft pre-installation survey of a luxury kitchen in Chicago, scanned in June 2025 so the cabinetry could be fabricated to measured conditions. Farther west, we scanned the 1,750 sq ft Daylight Coffee shop on Pinehurst Drive in Basehor, KS in May 2024.

How a Noblesville project runs: send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you want, and we return an itemized quote with travel listed as its own line, since we do not keep a crew in Indiana. On scan day the technician works through the building while it stays open. The scans are then registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

Noblesville FAQ

What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is in the space (a bare shell is quicker to document than a finished store or clinic), the deliverables you choose and travel set the price. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the base tier; a Revit model adds drafting time. Every quote is itemized.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a single small room, probably not. For a whole building, a multi-tenant property or a project that needs Revit, the travel line is usually a small share of the total, and you get one measured record for the whole job instead of repeated site visits.

How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from a registered laser-scan point cloud, so walls, ceilings and openings are measured where they actually are, including out-of-square conditions that a tape survey tends to miss.

Does the building have to close?
No. A technician moves through the space with a handheld or tripod scanner and works around staff and customers. Evening or weekend scanning can be arranged.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
The set is prepared as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits with a remodel or addition. In Noblesville, permit applications go to the City's Building & Inspections Division at 16 S 10th Street, which also accepts electronic submittals through its online portal. Your design professional handles the application; we make sure the existing conditions in it are correct.

Who owns the files?
You do. The point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and your consultants to use as you see fit.

Scanned by our crews in Ohio, Illinois and Kansas:

  • Windsor, Easton Town Center
    Columbus, OH · 4,358 sq ft · 2025
The central double-height zone of this mall unit, with its arch feature and suspended lighting, needed detailed MEP documentation. ADS modeled ceiling systems from scan data and zoned the sales, fitting and back-of-house areas.
  • Luxury Kitchen Pre-Install in Chicago
    Chicago, IL · 400 sq ft · 2025
Before the cabinets went in, ADS measured every accessible lighting, HVAC and plumbing outlet in this kitchen and confirmed placement on site. Scope was limited to visible components so the data stayed reliable.
  • Daylight Coffee, Pinehurst Drive
    Basehor, KS · 1,750 sq ft · 2024
ADS recorded the walls, framing and partitions of this Daylight Coffee shop directly from LiDAR data, giving the design team as-built plans and elevations for planning and compliance work.
