Napa FAQ
What does it cost?
Floor area, the complexity of the interior, the deliverables you need and travel. The base tier is a point cloud with 2D CAD; Revit adds modeling time. Each quote is itemized so you can drop lines.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a winery, hotel or any building without reliable drawings, yes: one visit captures everything, and the travel line is small against the cost of re-measuring later.
How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and Matterport Pro3 and draft from the point cloud, so every dimension is measured rather than assumed.
Does the building have to close?
No. Scanning works around guests, staff and production; early-morning or after-hours visits can be arranged.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer submits to the City of Napa Building Division at 1600 First Street, which takes submittals at its counter rather than through an online portal, and applications filed on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes. Properties outside city limits fall under the Napa County Building Division. Our set gives the submittal measured existing conditions.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
