What you get
An as-built drawing set is only useful if the dimensions in it are true. ADS gets them from a laser scan of your Murray building and delivers, depending on scope: a registered 3D point cloud; a 360° digital twin for checking conditions from your desk; 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections; a Revit model at LOD 200–300; and MEP and structural elements where your engineers need them, such as exposed ductwork, beams and electrical runs. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.
We have not yet published a project in Murray or elsewhere in Utah. Our nearest completed jobs are the TAG Heuer boutique at The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas (1,147 sq ft, March 2022, scanned with a Matterport Pro3 while the mall was open), the James Perse store at Scottsdale Fashion Square (2,492 sq ft, 2025) and a 5,922 sq ft single-family home in Los Alamos, New Mexico (2024).
How a Murray project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and deliverables; we send an itemized quote with travel on its own line. What does it cost?
Size, interior complexity, deliverables and travel. A medical suite full of casework and ceiling-mounted equipment takes longer to document than an empty retail bay, and a Revit model takes longer than CAD alone. Each item is a separate line on the quote.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a clinic, an office building, a warehouse or a group of properties scanned on one trip, the travel line is a small part of the total. For a single small house it may not be, and we will tell you.
How accurate is it?
Every dimension is taken from a Leica RTC360, BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3 point cloud. We draft from the scan, not from the last set of permit drawings.
Does the building have to close?
No. One technician works around patients, staff or tenants, and most spaces are captured in a single day.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses them as the existing-conditions base for a submittal to the Murray City Building Division and Inspections office, which accepts new permit applications online through eProcess 360. Your design professional files; we make sure what exists is drawn correctly.
Who owns the files?
You do. The point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and anyone you name.
