Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Travel is quoted as its own line, and for Mount Vernon it is a short trip from the Manhattan and Greenwich sites we have already documented. For an apartment building, a commercial property or anything needing Revit, one visit replaces repeated measuring trips.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions are measured from the registered point cloud, so settled floors, bowed walls and irregular bays in an older building are recorded as they are. Scanner settings are adjusted on site for glass and reflective finishes.
Does the building have to close?
No. Tenants stay in place and businesses stay open; the technician works around people, and we can schedule evenings or weekends for common areas.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits. In Mount Vernon that application goes to the City's Department of Buildings at City Hall. Your design professional files; our job is to make sure the existing conditions in it are right.
Who owns the files?
