What you get
ADS produces as-built drawings from a laser scan of the building, which matters in older buildings where the walls have moved since the original plans were drawn. Scoped to your job, you receive a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser, 2D CAD floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD and PDF, and a Revit model at LOD 200–300 when your team works in BIM. Exposed MEP and structural elements are documented where scoped, and BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.
We have not yet published a Macon project. The nearest is Fendi at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, a 5,132 sq ft boutique scanned with a Matterport Pro3 in June 2022; north of the city we documented Lucky Goat Coffee at Stonebridge Village in Flowery Branch, 1,838 sq ft, in November 2024. In Charlotte we scanned Gallery House, a 10,443 sq ft commercial building, in February 2025. Warehouses, medical offices and downtown mixed-use buildings follow the same workflow as those jobs.

On scan day a technician works through the building while it stays in use. What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is in the space, the deliverables you select and travel. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the base tier; a Revit model and MEP documentation are separate lines. Every quote is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a warehouse, a commercial building or a large house, yes: the scan is a day or less and the travel line is small against the drafting work. It is stated separately on the quote so you can judge it.
How accurate is it?
Scans are made with Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and Matterport Pro3 scanners, and the CAD and Revit files are drafted from that registered point cloud. Nothing is transferred from an old drawing.
Does the building have to close?
No. Warehouses, stores, offices and homes stay in use while we scan; the technician works around your operations and can come outside business hours.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set is prepared as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer files with a renovation, addition or change-of-use application. In Macon that goes to the Macon-Bibb County Department of Business and Development Services, which handles building permits, plan review and inspections and takes applications through its Community Connect online portal.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
