What you get
Lenexa's building stock mixes warehouses, offices, retail and homes, and each type gets the same measured treatment. A technician scans the space with a Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3; the scans are registered into one point cloud; and the drawings are drafted from that cloud. Depending on scope you receive a 360° digital twin, 2D CAD floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD and PDF, a Revit model at LOD 200–300, MEP and structural elements where you need them, and BOMA or REBNY area calculations for lease work.
We have not published a Lenexa project yet, but our nearest work is close: in May 2024 we scanned the 1,750 sq ft Daylight Coffee shop on Pinehurst Drive in Basehor, KS, west of Kansas City. Our other Midwest projects are a 400 sq ft pre-installation survey of a luxury kitchen in Chicago (June 2025) and the 4,358 sq ft Windsor store at Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH (2025).
How a Lenexa project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and deliverables; we return an itemized quote with travel as its own line, as we do not keep a crew in Kansas. Scan day takes place while the building operates. Registration and drafting follow, and you review the set before final delivery.

What does it cost?
Price follows floor area, the density of what is in the space, the deliverables you select and travel. A warehouse shell is quick; a fitted-out clinic or restaurant takes longer to draft. Point cloud and CAD is the base; Revit adds time. Every line is itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Our Basehor project shows the model works in the Kansas City area even for a single coffee shop. For larger buildings the travel line becomes a small part of the total, and you avoid return trips because the whole building is in the point cloud.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions are measured by laser scan and drafted from the point cloud, not transferred from old plans. The digital twin lets you check any dimension against the scan yourself.
Does the building have to close?
No. The technician works around tenants and staff, and warehouse operations can continue while we scan. Off-hours scanning is available.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base in your architect's or engineer's submittal. In Lenexa, building permits run through the Community Development Department at City Hall, 17101 West 87th Street Parkway, which takes applications, fees and inspection requests through its online Licensing and Permitting Portal. Your design professional files the application; we make sure the base drawings are right.
Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and your consultants.

Visibility from the mall corridor mattered for branding, so the facade and large windows of this second-floor, 4,358 sq ft store were captured precisely. Annotated CAD drawings highlighted customer zones, fitting rooms and storage for the new Windsor layout.
