League City FAQ
What does it cost?
Floor area, how much detail the space holds, which deliverables you order and travel. Point cloud with 2D CAD is the base tier and Revit is priced on top. Quotes are itemized so you can remove anything you do not need.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For most projects, yes. Travel to League City is one line on the quote, the scan is a single visit, and registration, drafting and revisions are handled remotely for every client, local or not.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from the registered point cloud, millions of measured points per scan position, rather than from a tape or the builder's plans. Walls, openings and ceiling heights are recorded as they exist.
Does the building have to close?
No. Homes, offices, clinics and stores stay occupied while we scan. We work around people and furniture, and early or late visits can be arranged.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set is prepared as the existing-conditions base for the application your architect, engineer or contractor files with the city's building department, which reviews plans and inspects the work. Your design professional handles the submittal; our job is to make sure the existing conditions in it are correct.
Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and your consultants.
