Manufacturing space is where tape-measure as-builts fail: long sightlines, equipment in the way, services overhead. ADS scans the building with LiDAR instead and drafts from the scan. Depending on scope you receive a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin to walk through online, 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and exposed MEP and structural elements such as columns, trusses, ductwork and conduit. The same package covers a downtown storefront or an office just as well.
We have not yet published a Kokomo or north-central Indiana project. Our nearest work is a 400 sq ft pre-installation survey of a luxury kitchen in Chicago in June 2025, and Windsor at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio, a 4,358 sq ft retail store documented in 2025. In May 2024 we scanned the 1,750 sq ft Daylight Coffee building on Pinehurst Drive in Basehor, Kansas.

What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is in the building, which deliverables you choose and travel. A big open plant floor is quicker per square foot than a partitioned office; point cloud with 2D CAD costs less than the same job with a Revit model. Each line on the quote stands alone.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For an industrial or commercial building, yes. One technician captures the whole site in a single visit, and the travel line is shown before you decide. Several Howard County properties can share one trip.
How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and the Matterport Pro3 and draft from the point cloud, so dimensions are measured on site rather than taken from drawings that may predate several renovations.
Does the building have to close?
No. We scan around shifts, machinery and customers, and can schedule outside production hours where access is tight.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set is the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits with a renovation, addition or change-of-use application to the City of Kokomo's building permit office. Your design professional handles the filing; we make sure the existing conditions in it are right.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
