How accurate is it?
Dimensions come from a Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3 point cloud, not from a tape, so what is in the drawing is what the scanner measured on site.
Does the building have to close?
No. The technician works around people in the building during normal hours. After-hours scanning is available if a tenant prefers it.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses the set as the existing-conditions base for a submittal to the City of Kingsport Building Division at 415 Broad Street, which reviews under the 2018 International codes. The design professional carries the permit; we supply accurate existing conditions.
Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files all go to you and anyone you name.

Permits & governing bodies
