What does it cost?
Floor area, how much detail is in the space, the deliverables you order and travel. Point cloud with 2D CAD is the entry level; a Revit model is priced separately. Quotes are itemized so the scope can be trimmed.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For most commercial and multifamily buildings, yes. Travel is one line on the quote and the scan is a single visit; registration, drafting and revisions are done remotely for every client. Several buildings scanned on one trip share the travel cost.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions are read from the point cloud, not from a tape or an old plan. Each scan position records millions of measured points, so the drawings show the building as it stands.
Does the building have to close?
No. Apartments, stores, offices and clinics stay occupied while we scan; we work around residents and staff, and off-hours scanning can be scheduled.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses the set as the existing-conditions base for an application to the City of Killeen Building Inspections department at 100 E Avenue C, which issues permits and schedules inspections through its MGO Connect portal and oversees certificates of occupancy. They file; we make sure the existing conditions are accurate.
Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and your consultants.

For the Brown Subaru Service Center renovation, ADS ran a terrestrial LiDAR survey of the structural and architectural conditions, analyzed the existing structure, and drew the as-built set in AutoCAD and Revit.
