How a Hempstead project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you need; we return an itemized quote with travel as its own line. The scan happens with the building occupied. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings drafted from it, and you review the set before we finalize.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For an apartment building, a shopping-strip property, a school or anything that needs a Revit model, yes: one visit documents the whole building and the travel line is small against the total. For one small space, ask and we will tell you plainly.
How accurate is it?
Dimensions are measured from the registered point cloud rather than by hand, so additions, out-of-square rooms and ceiling heights are recorded as built. Scanner settings are adjusted on site for glass and reflective surfaces.
Does the building have to close?
No. Tenants, shoppers and staff carry on while the technician works; we can scan outside hours where that is easier.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits. Which office you file with depends on the address: the Incorporated Village of Hempstead has its own Building Department, while the Town of Hempstead Building Department issues permits for addresses under the Town's jurisdiction. Your design professional confirms the jurisdiction and files.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
