Hemet FAQ
What does it cost?
Square footage, how cluttered or detailed the interior is, the deliverables you order and travel determine the price. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the base tier and a Revit model adds drafting time. Quotes are itemized.
Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Yes for most Hemet jobs. Travel is a single line on the quote, the scan takes hours, and the drafting that makes up most of the cost is the same no matter where the building is.
How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and the Matterport Pro3 and take every dimension from the point cloud. Walls out of square and floors out of level are drawn as they are.
Does the building have to close?
No. We work around staff, tenants and customers, and after-hours scanning is available.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer submits them as the existing-conditions base to the City of Hemet Building Division at 445 East Florida Avenue, which takes applications by email, in person at City Hall or through its online portal for licensed contractors. Applications filed on or after January 1, 2026 are reviewed under the 2025 California codes.
Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
