The drawings are drafted from the registered point cloud, so dimensions are measured on site, not copied from the last set of plans. Does the building have to close?
No. Scanning is unobtrusive; tenants and staff carry on and we move around them.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base. In Hartford, construction plans are reviewed and building permits issued by the Licenses & Inspections Division of the city's Department of Development Services. Your architect or engineer files; we make sure the existing conditions in the set are correct.
Do you do BOMA area calculations for leasing?
Yes. BOMA and REBNY area calculations are available on request once the floor plans are drafted from the scan.
