What you get

An as-built from ADS is a measured record of a building as it stands, not a redraw of old plans. For a Haltom City property the process starts with a technician scanning the space using a Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3. We register those scans into one 3D point cloud and draft your deliverables from it: 2D CAD floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections in AutoCAD and PDF; a Revit model at LOD 200–300; a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser; and MEP or structural elements where scoped. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are an optional add-on.

We have not yet published a Haltom City project. The nearest ADS work is across the metroplex in Dallas, where we scanned the James Perse store at 3337 N Fitzhugh Avenue (2,798 sq ft) in April 2025 and a 4,635 sq ft single-level brick and wood home in Hillcrest that same spring. Our Brown Subaru project in Amarillo, an 8,200 sq ft dealership captured with the Leica RTC360 in November 2024, shows the same workflow on a larger commercial footprint.

How a Haltom City project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you need; we reply with an itemized quote, travel listed separately. The scan is usually one visit and the building stays in operation. Registration and drafting follow, you review, and we revise before releasing the final files.

Haltom City FAQ

What does it cost?
The quote depends on floor area, how much detail the space contains, which deliverables you order and travel. A point cloud with 2D CAD is the lowest tier; a Revit model is priced on top of it. Every line is itemized so you can trim the scope.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
Generally, yes. Haltom City is a short drive from our recent Dallas projects, so travel is a small part of the quote, and drafting is done remotely for every client.

How accurate is it?
Dimensions are read from the point cloud, which captures millions of measured points per scan position. Nothing is paced off or assumed, so the plans match the building, not the original permit set.

Does the building have to close?
No. Shops, warehouses, workshops and homes stay in use while we scan. We work around people and equipment, and off-hours visits can be scheduled.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer files them as the existing-conditions base with Haltom City's Planning and Community Development department, whose building permits and inspections division reviews, permits and inspects construction and renovation inside the city. We supply the measured record; they handle the application.

Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and your consultants.

Scanned by our crews in Dallas and the Texas Panhandle:

  • James Perse, 3337 N Fitzhugh Ave
    Dallas, TX · 2,798 sq ft · 2025
Strong street visibility and parking came with this Dallas corner lot, formerly a pet store. Converting it into a luxury boutique required brand-aligned layout updates, so ADS recorded architectural and MEP conditions for permitting and code compliance.
  • Hillcrest Single-Level Brick & Wood Home
    Dallas, TX · 4,635 sq ft · 2025
A 4,635 sq ft single-story Preston Hollow home with granite, steel and custom woodwork, scanned inside and out to support renovation planning. ADS delivered a LiDAR point cloud, an LOD 300 Revit model with IFC export, and 3D visualization views.
  • Brown Subaru
    Amarillo, TX · 8,200 sq ft · 2024
ADS combined a Leica RTC360 and a Matterport Pro3 to capture this 8,200 sq ft Brown Subaru building, then drafted in AutoCAD and Revit. The high-density point cloud recorded architectural detail, and the walkthrough added project visualization.
