What you get

ADS documents a Fort Wayne building the same way we document a store in Columbus or a hospital in Montreal: a technician scans it with LiDAR, the scans are registered into a single point cloud, and the drawings are drafted from that measured record. Depending on scope you receive the registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin, 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and MEP and structural elements where your engineer needs them. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

We have not yet published a Fort Wayne or northeast Indiana project. The nearest is Windsor at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio, a 4,358 sq ft retail store documented in 2025. To the west we surveyed a 400 sq ft luxury kitchen in Chicago in June 2025 ahead of installation, and in May 2024 we scanned the 1,750 sq ft Daylight Coffee building in Basehor, Kansas.

How a Fort Wayne project runs: you send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you want; we quote, with travel on its own line because we do not keep a crew in Indiana. Scan day is one visit with the building in use. We register, draft, send you the set for review and revise before final delivery.

Fort Wayne FAQ

What does it cost?
Four things set it: floor area, how much is in the space (a bare warehouse is faster to document than an office full of partitions and exposed services), the deliverables you choose and travel. Point cloud with 2D CAD is the base tier; Revit adds modelling time. The quote is itemized.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For most commercial and industrial buildings, yes. One technician captures the whole building in one visit, and the travel line shows what the trip costs before you commit. Grouping several Allen County properties into one trip spreads it further.

How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and the Matterport Pro3, then draft from the point cloud, so every dimension is one that was measured on site.

Does the building have to close?
No. Plants, offices and stores stay open; we work around shifts and can scan outside business hours if a floor is crowded.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. The set is the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits for a renovation or tenant improvement. For Fort Wayne addresses, building permits are handled by the Allen County Building Department; your design professional files the application, and we make sure the existing conditions in it are right.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are yours to keep and share with your consultants.

Nearby ADS projects

Scanned by our crews in Ohio, Illinois and the Midwest:

  • Windsor, Easton Town Center
    Columbus, OH · 4,358 sq ft · 2025
The central double-height zone of this mall unit, with its arch feature and suspended lighting, needed detailed MEP documentation. ADS modeled ceiling systems from scan data and zoned the sales, fitting and back-of-house areas.
  • Luxury Kitchen Pre-Install in Chicago
    Chicago, IL · 400 sq ft · 2025
Before the cabinets went in, ADS measured every accessible lighting, HVAC and plumbing outlet in this kitchen and confirmed placement on site. Scope was limited to visible components so the data stayed reliable.
  • Daylight Coffee, Pinehurst Drive
    Basehor, KS · 1,750 sq ft · 2024
Ducts, beams and suspended lights in this Basehor cafe's open ceiling were modeled from the scan. The CAD drawings separate customer, prep and service areas within the compact layout to support fit-out.

Permits & governing bodies
Building permits for Fort Wayne addresses are handled by the Allen County Building Department (allencounty.in.gov, Permits & Planning).
Your architect or engineer confirms the code edition and submittal requirements for your project.

Where we work
Downtown Fort Wayne, the Southwest and Northeast sides, New Haven, Huntertown, Leo-Cedarville and the rest of Allen County, plus Auburn, Columbia City and Huntington.
