What you get

Every ADS as-built begins with a LiDAR scan of the building and ends with a drawing set your architect, engineer or contractor can work from. Depending on what you order, that means a registered 3D point cloud, a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser, 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF (floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections), a Revit model at LOD 200–300, and MEP or structural elements where the scope calls for them. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

We have not yet published a Cuyahoga Falls project. The nearest is in Columbus, where we documented the Windsor store at Easton Town Center, a 4,358 sq ft retail space, in 2025. In Chicago we completed a 400 sq ft pre-installation survey of a luxury kitchen in June 2025, and in Basehor, Kansas, we documented Daylight Coffee, a 1,750 sq ft corner café with full-height storefront glazing and an exposed ceiling, in May 2024.

How a Cuyahoga Falls project runs: send the address, the approximate square footage and the deliverables you need, and we return an itemized quote with travel as its own line. On scan day one technician works through the building with the scanner while it stays in use. The scans are registered into a single point cloud, the drawings are drafted from that cloud, and you review the set before the final files are delivered.

Cuyahoga Falls FAQ

What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is inside the space, which deliverables you want and travel set the price. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the lowest tier; a Revit model adds drafting time. Quotes are itemized, so you can remove anything you do not need.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a single small room, usually not. It makes sense when the building is large or irregular, when you need Revit or the point cloud itself, or when the only existing drawings are decades old. One visit captures everything; nobody has to come back for a missed dimension.

How accurate is it?
We scan with Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and Matterport Pro3 and draft from the point cloud, so every dimension is measured rather than assumed.

Does the building have to close?
No. Shops, offices and homes are scanned while people use them; the Basehor café stayed open during its scan.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Your architect or engineer uses the set as the existing-conditions base for the submittal. In Cuyahoga Falls, building permits are handled through Summit County's Division of Building Standards, while zoning approvals come from the city's Division of Planning & Zoning at 2310 Second Street; your design professional handles the filing.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
