Every dimension is taken from the registered point cloud, not from a tape. If your engineer needs a specific tolerance stated, ask for it in the quote.
Does the building have to close?
No. The technician works around staff, customers and residents, and evening or weekend scanning can be arranged.
Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. In Coeur d'Alene, building permits are issued through the Customer Service Center at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, with contractor submittals through the City's online building portal. Your architect or engineer files the application; our set is the existing-conditions base.
Who owns the files?
You do. Point cloud, CAD, PDF and Revit files are delivered to you and to the consultants you name.
