What you get

The closest ADS project to Binghamton is a small one: a 1,600 sq ft ranch house in Roxbury, in the western Catskills, scanned March 19–21, 2025. We have not yet published a Binghamton job. Our largest New York project is the Poughkeepsie State Office Building, 565,308 sq ft documented in spring 2025 for a renovation program, with interior layouts, façade elevations and site topography delivered as a point cloud, 360° digital twin, AutoCAD and PDF sheets, photo record and Revit model; and in the city we scanned a 2,500 sq ft office suite in Manhattan (2024). The same crew and the same workflow travel to Binghamton.

An as-built from ADS is drafted from a LiDAR scan, not from a tape. Depending on what you order:
– A registered 3D point cloud (Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO or Matterport Pro3).
– A 360° digital twin you can open in a browser.
– 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF: floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections.
– A Revit model at LOD 200–300.
– MEP and structural elements when scoped; BOMA/REBNY area calculations on request.

How a Binghamton project runs: send the address, square footage and deliverables and we return an itemized quote with travel as a separate line. On scan day a technician works through the building while it stays open. We register the scans, draft the set from the cloud, and you review it before final delivery.

Binghamton FAQ

What does it cost?
Price is set by floor area, how much detail the building holds, the deliverables you choose and travel to Binghamton. Point cloud plus 2D CAD is the lowest tier; Revit and MEP documentation add drafting hours. Quotes are itemized.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For a former factory or warehouse being converted, a downtown commercial building or a campus property, yes: one mobilization captures the whole building and the travel line is small by comparison. For a small residential job, ask; we will say if it is not.

How accurate is it?
Dimensions are taken from the registered point cloud, so the irregularities of an older building (uneven floors, leaning walls, odd bays) are recorded rather than idealized. Scanner settings are adjusted on site for glass and reflective finishes.

Does the building have to close?
No. The technician works around tenants and staff; shops, offices and apartment buildings stay in use, and evening scanning can be arranged.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes, as the existing-conditions base your architect or engineer submits. Inside the city, construction is regulated under Chapter 200 of the Binghamton City Code and administered by the City's Department of Building and Construction and its Bureau of Code Enforcement. Your design professional files the application.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
