What you get

We have not yet published a Montana project; the nearest work on our site is in the Southwest, in Scottsdale, Los Alamos and Las Vegas. We say that plainly because a Billings client should know travel is part of the quote before calling.

What an ADS as-built gives you is the same wherever the building is: a registered 3D point cloud; a 360° digital twin you can open in a browser; 2D CAD in AutoCAD and PDF, with floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and sections; a Revit model at LOD 200–300 if your team works in BIM; and MEP or structural elements where the project needs them. BOMA or REBNY area calculations are available on request.

The Southwest projects: the James Perse store at Scottsdale Fashion Square, 2,492 sq ft, captured December 30, 2024 to January 6, 2025; a 5,922 sq ft single-family home in Los Alamos, New Mexico, documented July 2–12, 2024; and the TAG Heuer boutique at The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas, 1,147 sq ft, scanned in one visit during mall hours in March 2022 with a Matterport Pro3 and delivered as a point cloud, digital twin, 2D CAD set and LOD 300 Revit model. The architect on that job, Victor Zamparelli, calls the team "precise, professional, and attuned to luxury brand standards."

How a Billings project runs: send the address, approximate square footage and the deliverables you want; we return an itemized quote with travel listed separately. A technician scans the building in one visit while it stays open. The scans are registered into one point cloud, the drawings are drafted from it, and you review the set before final delivery.

Billings FAQ

What does it cost?
Floor area, how much is inside the space, which deliverables you order and travel to Billings, which is a real line on a Montana quote. Point cloud and 2D CAD is the lowest tier; Revit adds drafting time. Everything is itemized.

Is it worth bringing you in from out of town?
For one small room, no. For a whole building, a complex plan, a project that needs Revit or the point cloud itself, or a property with no reliable drawings, one scanning visit captures everything and avoids return trips, which matters more the farther away the crew is.

How accurate is it?
Leica RTC360 and BLK2GO scanners and the Matterport Pro3 produce the point cloud; the drawings are drafted from it, so dimensions are measured rather than assumed.

Does the building have to close?
No. The Crystals boutique was scanned during mall hours, and offices, clinics and stores in Billings would be handled the same way.

Will the drawings work for my permit?
Yes. Building permits in Billings are issued by the City of Billings Building Division, 316 North 26th Street, with applications submitted through the city's GoPost online portal. Your architect or engineer files the submittal; our set is the existing-conditions base for it.

Who owns the files?
You do. CAD, PDF, Revit and the point cloud are delivered to you and your consultants.
